If you are looking for an updated OGDI SDK version, you can find version v4 (named Datalab) on GitHub: https://github.com/openlab/datalab

Works with Visual Studio 2010 and Windows Azure SDK 1.6.

Can anybody have a solution for that. Actually I don't want to use Azure platform to deploy this OGDI application. Want to use my local sqlserver for storage. So, need suggestion from you guys that it can be done or not, and If yes than How can I do this???

Thanks for the update! It seems that they're working on, but is very weird this situation: having a downloadable 'official' microsoft version on the Web and not published anything about in in the correspondant codeplex project. May be we are having news soon about it, or not?

on accident found an update of the OGDI software on http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/fr-fr/details.aspx?FamilyID=420837f8-25ec-47ba-b558-b6a7f64b3348.

why is there no notification of this on codeplex?
Why is the source not saved in codeplex?
Is there an english description of the download?

This is where it used to be. Try the following steps:

1) Check C:\Program Files\Microsoft Reactive Extensions SDK\v1.0.10425\Binaries\.NETFramework\v3.5,if one exists

2) Search your file system for the file

3) Check if the file shows in the Add Reference dialog

4) Wait for the VS2010/.NET4 version of OGDI that will be published in the next few days

Hi,

Severals project in this solution references a System.Threading DLL (and System.Threading.Tasks NameSpace). Readme.rtf says that this DLL is available at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=182996 and that this DLL deploys in C:\Program Files\Microsoft Cloud Programmability\Reactive Extensions\v1.0.2563.0\Net35.
But when I use this link and deploy software, all I find is a C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Reactive Extensions SDK\v1.0.10425\Binaries\.NETFramework\v3.5 folder, without a trace of this DLL.

Any Idea?

OGDI data service is read-only by design and supports just a tiny subset of OData query operations.

Hi,

If I correctly understood, the only supported way to upload data into a OGDI instance, is to convert data to CSV and then use DataLoader to send this data into Azure.

But It seems to me that Odata support CRUD operations, so I tried to call AddTo<dataset>() method on a ogdiSDK dataset. No fun, an 403 error occurs.

Is there a way to Update data to OGDI via Odata (maybe using Context.Credentials, but what Credentials should I use?)

We're still in active development / early alpha stages, but the Open Data Publisher is a port of OGDI to SQL Server: http://opendatapublisher.codeplex.com/ We are also allowing consumption of external OData feeds from the web UI portion, though it's only tested with GeoREST so far. Not really advertising this until we get a live site running as a demo and get a few more of the bug fixes / changes we have planned done.
